A Jesuit Bishop On Fr. Julian Tenison Woods

Called Yours Most Aftly, the book has been edited by North Goulburn Josephite Sr Anne Player, and traces Fr Julian's travels as a wandering missionary around Australia and Asia, including witnessing the 1883 massive eruption of the Krakatoa volcano from a boat off the Indonesian coast, The Southern Cross reports.
Launched by Auxiliary Bishop Greg O'Kelly SJ, the book of letters between Fr Julian and his brother Terence is a fascinating insight into an historic man, who founded two religious orders, and was a gifted scientist, writer, musician and lecturer.
A newly published book of letters by Sisters of St Joseph co-founder, Fr Julian Tenison Woods, details his missionary travels around Australia and Asia, where he also witnessed the eruption of Krakatoa in 1883.
